Langdon Beck residential
Year 6 had a fabulous time at Langdon Beck. We collected minibeasts and identified them. We were able to work out how polluted the stream was. The organisms indicated that it had very little pollution.
On the second day we walked for 10 miles. The weather was fantastic. We saw Cauldron’s snout waterfall and Cows Green reservoir. At the end of the day we were extremely tired but very proud of our achievements.
Nursery visits to Hall Hill Farm
Our Nursery children had a really good time at the farm. They stroked the guinea pigs and rabbits, held a chick, fed the sheep and goats, and gave a lamb a drink of milk. It was funny when a llama tried to chase the tractor!
Thank you to all of the parents who went along to help. (Please visit the Nursery gallery to see more images).
- 2 rabbits – do they look the same?
