Below is a fantastic video created by the children and parents within Year 1 to show their friends they are out there and still smiling – please share your videos, photos, letters and work from the children so that their friends can keep in touch and know we are all still there for each other. A very special thank you to Amelia’s mum for creating and getting this to us. It really lifts all our spirits to see the children doing so well and staying so happy.

This Forest School pack is themed for May Day which was on Monday 1st May. May day traditions continue through the month and is recognised as a celebration for spring so we thought it would be fitting to focus on flowers for this pack. Inside the pack are ideas for you and your child(ren) during the lockdown period. We have generalised activities so that we offer all children the same regardless of age, you may find some activities are more suited to your child(ren) then others but all are worth a try!

VE Day (Victory in Europe Day) is the day that the UK remembers the end of the Second World War. This year the 75th anniversary takes place on Friday 8 May. The coronavirus outbreak means that there will be no street parties, parades or concerts this year, but you could still celebrate at home. Click below to find some learning resources
