We are extremely proud of our status as an international school. Over the last 19 years we have continued to embed an international dimension across our curriculum. Our international awards celebrate our schools efforts to include an international dimension across our curriculum and embed it within our schools culture and confirms our schools commitment to international education. We are proud to place our 10 Year International School logo and International School Award on everyone of our school website pages.
10 Year International Award International Award 2016 – 2019
As well as the international work embedded within our curriculum, the collaborative element with our partner schools (Tahatai Coast School New Zealand, Ecole Casimir Rouzay France and Golden Peak High School Nepal) and enrichment activities throughout the year allow our pupils to become more aware of the world outside their own immediate experiences and geographical area. Through this international dimension our pupils have the opportunity to make connections with issues in their locality and globally.
Our latest action plan was approved by the British Council in December 2018 and we are currently awaiting reaccreditation.

NEXT STEPS – Connecting Classrooms
We are currently developing our next step of International work by working with our local cluster schools to develop links with schools across Nepal. The purpose of Connecting classrooms is to connect classrooms through Global Learning and support schools and their children to learn about and collaborate on the big issues that shape our world. We have already started planning some exciting activities linked to the ‘Sustainable Development Goals’ to complete with our partner school ‘Golden Peak High School’ all the way in Nepal. We are very excited about this process as we hope to host teachers from our partner school. We are looking forward to learning about the significant differences between our schools as well as enabling our staff to teach in the international school and bring back the experience to our children.
