The Royal Visit

On Wednesday 2^nd March, Consett Academy was officially opened by the Duke of Gloucester. He arrived in style by helicopter. Daisy (Y6), Hannah (Y5) and Benjamin (Y4) represented Leadgate Primary School by waving flags and cheering to welcome the very special visitor. The children designed a special celebration cake to mark the occasion.
